1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CTX Me platform, including the website, API, CLI tool, and MCP server (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Context Me ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

CTX Me is a context management platform. You can create projects, upload content (text, documents, files), and access that content through our website, API, CLI, and MCP server. The Service extracts text from uploaded documents to enable search.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must not share API keys or allow others to access your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and serve that content back to you and to any third-party tools you choose to connect. We do not use your content to train machine learning models.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you provide, and that your content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Upload malicious content, malware, or content that infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure.
  • Circumvent rate limits or other technical restrictions.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Third-Party Integrations

The Service is designed to work with third-party AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and others) via MCP and API. When you connect these tools, your content is transmitted to them. We are not responsible for how third-party tools handle your data — review their terms and privacy policies before connecting.

7. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or interruption of service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons. On termination, we will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
